The B'more Fresh Produce Incentive

Baltimore City residents enrolled in the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) are now eligible to receive an extra $30 per month to purchase fruits and vegetables when they shop online with one of 3 participating grocers. After spending $5 on SNAP-eligible items, shoppers will receive $30 in their online account. 

 

Eligibility: This program is only available to SNAP recipients in Baltimore City

Participating grocery retailers: Amazon Fresh, Giant, and Safeway

How to qualify for the $30 B'more Fresh produce incentive? 

  • Spend $5 on ANY SNAP-eligible items 
  • Orders must be placed online for curbside pick-up or delivery in Baltimore City 
  • You must have a SNAP/EBT card on file at the time of your purchase

  1. Spend $5 with Amazon Fresh using your SNAP benefits and receive $30 added directly to your Amazon Wallet for fresh/frozen fruit and vegetables.

B’more Fresh is a new Online Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program incentive that encourages SNAP participants living in Baltimore City to increase online purchases of fresh and frozen fruit and vegetables. After spending a minimum of $5 on SNAP-eligible items, participants will receive a $30 e-incentive to shop for fresh and frozen fruits and vegetables online. Baltimore City SNAP recipients can shop at 3 participating retailers: Amazon, Giant, and Safeway. Eligible participants can use this e-incentive every month for the duration of this program, currently funded through 2026. This program is administered by the Food Policy and Planning Division (FPP) of the Baltimore City Department of Planning and is funded by the American Rescue Plan Act through 2025.
